Harry Edward Styles is an English musician, singer, and musician from England. He was a member of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994, and is the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where he formed his own band, composed of 3 schoolmates, which was dubbed the White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. He was always interested in the arts, however he also wished to become the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even a scout. He was employed in a local bakery part-time to support his family financially. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The group was then forced to break up due to this. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of a future band that would be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which was formed in the year the year 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They were the first to sing Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the most competitive groups in the contest. They were however in third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Even though Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with Syco. Syco record label.
