Amber Benson, an American musician, producer and singer is also a songwriter. Most famously, she is best known for her role in the TV drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also produced, directed and appeared on her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Her younger sister is Danielle Benson, who has a career as an artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue.
